Selena Today (selenatoday.com) was created by me, Camille Ang, when I thought that it’s about time for me to create a fansite for my idol Selena Gomez. It took many days for me to decide whether I’ll make a fansite of Selena or try to make a fansite of Taylor Swift or Demi Lovato. I asked some of my friends if what fansite should make, many said “it’s up to you, who do you like best?” -
My answer: I like them all but I’d pretty much go with Selena cause I think I like her more.
And they said, ok Selena then.
Then I applied hosting first at fan-sites.org but they declined my application since my example site isn’t yet complete, but they said that if it’s all 100%, then I can apply again, but I never applied there again, instead I posted my application at starszz.com. After a year and 6 months, I decided to move everything. I changed site name, url, design, and host. Now, our site’s host is flaunt.nu.
History
April 2009: Starszz.com, my former host, accepted my application for hosting and bought the domain soselena.com for me. Thank you to the management of Starszz.com.
September 2010: I decided to switch hosts, site name, site url, and theme. Now, this site is hosted by Flaun.nu.
